Camel Scorpion Man

I'm not very good at naming things...

What started off as a final project turned into somewhat of a cliche sci-fi dream come true.

The assignment: Pay a visit to the Museum of Natural History to take a look at the evolution of earth's creatures and study their skeletal makeup, ultimately combining parts of different animals to form something new.

The result:

If you're interested in his life, please read on!

Since I don't have a comprehensive story developed for him, I figured I'll introduce him through a FAQ (let's assume enough people have seen this that I got a list of common questions, okay?).

When is this?
Undetermined amount into the future

Where does he live?
Some desert east of LA

Why a desert?
It's the only area that's non-toxic enough to inhabit. Cities have fallen and are currently under repair. But it's been a slow process due to the accidental destruction of chemical and nuclear plants, which obviously are very dangerous for the workers deployed to clean up.

Is everyone else in the desert too?
Many people have been forced to move to the desert. Although a handful of cities are still okay to live in. The really wealthy built cities and homes in the middle of the ocean. And no, we still haven't figured out how to live on the moon yet.

Sooo...why does any of this mean that he's part camel and scorpion?
It is advisable for the desert-dwellers to adopt the bottom half of camels so they can better survive in that environment. The warrior/militia class of people often opt for a scorpion tail as well.

If he's a camel, does he have a hump?
Yes, you just can't see it from this angle.

Why is his weapon of choice so archaic?
1. Guns are banned 2. Contrary to popular belief, it was not modeled after Katniss.

What led to this sad state anyway?
The fall of the Illuminati. Haha jk...

Does he have a name?
No :( help?

What does his skeleton look like?
This!

Thanks for reading! And if you have any more questions, please please ask! I might include it in this post because I think it's quite fun.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post even though it's pretty different from my usual.

What says holiday cheer more than such a cynical view of the future of humanity, huh? Well, enjoy the holidays! :)

  3. What is he fighting for/against? Are their other hybrid species? Is this just in the US? Which dessert? Are the wealthy hybrids or just normal human beings? Is he a lone warrior? Is he a symbol of hope?
